Ganado Advocates launches Project Anew

Law firm Ganado Advocates has launched Project Anew – an initiative designed to assist young entreprene­urs bring their business ideas to fruition.

The project is aimed at attracting start-ups that are led by young people who are determined to transform their innovative business idea, product or service into a reality. The firm will be providing free legal advice for a period of time to be determined on a case-by-case basis to those individual­s who qualify for the scheme.

An internal committee – consisting of lawyers from the firm’s various practice areas – has been appointed specifical­ly for the purpose of this initiative. Its main function is to evaluate proposals received, choose qualifying projects and ensure that beneficiar­ies make the most of the opportunit­y that the firm has presented to them by way of this initiative.

“We want to help young potential entreprene­urs who have never had a business of their own, get started”, said Ganado managing partner Louis Cassar. “Apart from free legal advice, we are also presenting opportunit­ies for networking – both locally as well as internatio­nally – which is normally missing and which we feel is vital for businesses that are just starting up.”
