Good wins for La Salle, Kaval­lieri and Aloysians

The Cup com­pe­ti­tion got un­der­way the past week­end with La Salle, Kaval­lieri and Aloysians reg­is­ter­ing wins against HMS, Luxol and Swieqi Phoenix re­spec­tively.

La Salle de­feated HMS 30-16. This match was dom­i­nated by the win­ners for whom Chris Ma­gro was in­stru­men­tal.

At the in­ter­val, La Salle were lead­ing HMS 16-6.

Miguel Grup­petta of HMS was shown a red card while La Salle goalie Francesco Musu was voted best player.

The of­fi­cials were Clin­ton Mif­sud and Ste­fan De­sira. Kaval­lieri de­feated Luxol 27-22. In this match, Ju­lian Brin­cat was shown a red card after only two min­utes of his en­ter­ing the pitch.

In the first half, Kaval­lieri led 11-14. Their goal­keeper, Daniel Gauci was voted best player.

The of­fi­cials were Mary­lyn Agius and Ste­fan De­sira.

In the third match, Aloysians beat Swieqi Phoenix 34-23.

Aloysians led 18-9 at the in­ter­val.

Player of the match was Philip Mif­sud while the two of­fi­cials were Daniel Tanti and Michael Tanti.
