Technical Board to analyse submissions on planned Mosta underground car park
Projects Malta has announced the setting up of a Technical Board, which will include a representative of the Archdiocese of Malta, to analyse submissions in respect of a planned underground car park in Mosta.
Architect Adrian Mifsud, a geotechnical engineer, has been appointed to represent the government on the board. The Archdiocese will be represented by Curia Property Manager Ray Bonnici.
It was agreed that the board should be given all technical studies related to the submissions and will only proceed if these studies show that the proposed project will not negatively Mosta rotunda.
The project, which was announced only recently, is intended to create some 350 new parking spaces. The existing ground-level car park at the side of the church will be turned into an open space. affect the
