Steve Camil­leri named ASA Player of the Year

Steve Camil­leri has been voted the 2016 Player of the Year by the ASA.

The player has there­fore won this hon­our a record six times – the pre­vi­ous five were in 2007, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.

Apart from fin­ish­ing top scorer in the Premier Divi­sion, he also made a name for him­self in the Euro­pean Cham­pi­onship in Bel­grade in Jan­uary where he also ended up as the top scorer of such a pres­ti­gious cham­pi­onship. There he scored 21 goals.

Camil­leri is also a player of Si­cil­ian club CC Or­ti­gia with whom he plays in Italy’s Serie A1.

U/17 League: Dar­ren Zam­mit (San Gil­jan ASC)

U/15 League: Niko­lai Zam­mit (Nep­tunes WPSC)

U/13 League: (Nep­tunes WPSC) Jake Mus­cat
