Saviour Portelli con­firmed MSSF pres­i­dent for an­other term

The Malta Shoot­ing Sport Fed­er­a­tion held its An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing 2016 at its Head­quar­ters at Bid­nija dur­ing which Saviour Portelli was con­firmed pres­i­dent for an­other bian­nual term - 20162018.

An­gelo Galea was con­firmed as MSSF Gen­eral Sec­re­tary, while Frans Pace was con­firmed MSSF Trea­surer. Ed­win Vella made a come­back to the fed­er­a­tion and was con­firmed as Pub­lic Re­la­tions Of­fi­cer.

Char­lie Fenech, Grez­zju Agius, Matthew Busut­til, Nicky Carabott and Jimmy Bugeja were con­firmed as MSSF com­mit­tee mem­bers.

John Galea will be rep­re­sent­ing Li­cence A hold­ers while Ray Cac­ciot­tolo will rep­re­sent MARPSC.

Dur­ing the AGM, the mem­bers ap­proved the MSSF Au­dited ac­counts pre­sented by Frans Pace and the an­nual re­port pre­sented by An­gelo Galea who high­lighted the achieve­ments by the MSSF mem­bers.

In his ad­dress, pres­i­dent Portelli stressed on the im­por­tance of unity be­tween af­fil­i­ated clubs and re­spect be­tween mem­bers and to­wards coun­cil mem­bers.

He thanked The Malta Olympic Com­mit­tee, SportMalta and The Par­lia­men­tary Sec­re­tariat for their ef­forts to help the Malta Shoot­ing Sports Fed­er­a­tion in their suc­cess.
