Two in­ter­na­tional ap­point­ments in Bel­gium for lo­cal ref­eree Vas­sallo

Fur­ther Euro­pean club games await lo­cal in­ter­na­tional bas­ket­ball ref­eree Bernard Vas­sallo this week.

In fact, af­ter ref­er­ee­ing the game be­tween Fri­bourg and the Pol­ish side Gdy­nia last week in Switzer­land, Vas­sallo is now in Bel­gium in or­der to of­fi­ci­ate at to­day’s FIBA Europe Cup Men Group B match to be played in the Alver­berg Arena in Has­selt be­tween hosts Lim­burg and the Dutch out­fit Donar Gronin­gen.

This is the sec­ond day of the group stage and both sides suf­fered a re­spec­tive de­feat last week with Gronin­gen los­ing at home whilst Lim­burg lost in Hun­gary.

To­mor­row, Vas­sallo will then travel to Braine L’Alleud, also in Bel­gium, to of­fi­ci­ate the FIBA Euro Cup Women Group F game be­tween Cas­tors Braine, los­ing fi­nal­ists in 2015, and the Por­tuguese cham­pi­ons Uniao on the open­ing day of this com­pe­ti­tion.
