Nestlé Malta takes part in chil­dren’s story telling

In one of the ac­tiv­i­ties to com­mem­o­rate Nestlé’s 150th an­niver­sary, Nestlé Malta hosted an an­i­mated chil­dren’s story telling event at the Pres­i­dent’s Kitchen Gar­den in At­tard.

Nestlé Malta’s Mar­ket­ing & Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Man­ager, Al­fred J Borg, ex­plained that “Nestlé Malta is con­stantly en­cour­ag­ing, through its com­mu­ni­ca­tion and ac­tiv­i­ties, a bal­anced and healthy life­style. Dur­ing this par­tic­u­lar year, we are fur­ther pro­mot­ing other as­pects of life, such as pro­mot­ing read­ing and the im­por­tance of lit­er­acy amongst young chil­dren. By fo­cus­ing on an­i­mated story telling, we are en­cour­ag­ing our chil­dren to ac­quire a love for read­ing. Or­ga­niz­ing this at the Pres­i­dent’s se­cret gar­den fur­ther en­hances the right am­bi­ence to this ac­tiv­ity“

This en­chant­ing story telling event took place on Satur­day, 22nd Oc­to­ber from 9am to 11am. On ar­rival the chil­dren were es­corted to the se­cret gar­den by the Pres­i­dent’s per­son­nel where Nestlé Malta em­ploy­ees read ab­stracts from It-Ti­fla tal-Bar­nuza Hamra, Il-Fenek u I-Fekruna, Tom Sawyer, Heidi, Trea­sure Is­land, and Around the world in 80 days. The sto­ries were read in both English and Mal­tese while an­i­ma­tors acted var­i­ous role plays.
