Marlene Farrugia ‘never asked Busuttil’ to be given ministry

Malta Independent - - NEWS -

Independent MP and leader of the Democratic Party Marlene Farrugia yesterday wrote that in talks the two sides are having on the formation of a coalition she never asked Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil for a ministry

In her weekly blog on The Malta Independent, Dr Farrugia indirectly replied to Dr Busuttil who was quoted as saying that all talk of a coalition would fail if Dr Farrugia asked to be given a ministry, should the coalition make it to government.

The reason for this, she said, is that she leads and is not led.

In an interview last week, Dr Farrugia would not exclude contesting under the PN ticket.
