20-year old charged with being in possession of and trafficking ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis
A 20-year-old man was yesterday charged with a string of drug-related offences following a police raid in Paceville and at his home.
Angus Camenzuli, 20, who lives in St Julian’s and Attard denied trafficking and being in possession of ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis.
He was also charged with committing the crime in the vicinity of a place frequented by youths, relapsing and committing a crime while serving a probation order.
The court heard how the accused was found to be carrying around 100 ecstasy pills and some 11 sachets of cocaine during a police raid in Paceville. Officers then found some 900 grams of cannabis grass in his garage.
Dr Victor Bugeja was appointed as legal aid lawyer. The accused made a request for bail, which was denied by Magistrate Donatella Frendo Dimech.
Inspector Frank Anthony Tabone prosecuted.
