Dutch, Slo­vak PMs in Malta to­day

The prime min­is­ters of the Nether­lands, Mark Rutte, and Slo­vakia, Robert Fico, will be in Malta to­day for meet­ings with PM Joseph Mus­cat.

Nether­lands, Slo­vakia and Malta formed part of a trio of EU pres­i­dency which started with the Dutch in Jan­uary and con­tin­ued with Slo­vakia in July. Malta will take over the EU pres­i­dency in Jan­uary 2017.

Ac­cord­ing to the Lis­bon Treaty, the trio draws up aims and agen­das to be ad­dressed in the 18month pe­riod.

The two prime min­is­ters are due at Castille around 10am.

Af­ter the meet­ings, PM Mus­cat will ac­com­pany Mr Rutte on a visit to the Dutch com­pany Avi­a­tion Cos­met­ics in Safi.
