Father sees son die in Coast Road motorcycle fatality

A young man died yesterday morning in a traffic accident on the Coast Road. The motorcyclist, a 25-yearold from Naxxar, later identified as Matthew Caruana, lost control of the bike and crashed into a crash barrier. He was taken to hospital where he died some time later. The biker was on the road with a number of other motorcyclists, including his father. Magistrate C. Stafrace Zammit is conducting an inquiry.
