Prof Mark Brincat claims he was hacked

Malta Independent - - NEWS -

With reference to the story carried on page 3 of yesterday’s edition, it has been brought to our attention that Professor Mark Brincat had meanwhile posted the following on the Facebook page Save the Embryo Protection Act Malta: “It has been brought to my attention that a cartoon purporting to have come from me was posted on this site. I did not send this. When it was sent, I was sleeping in Amsterdam. I was hacked and whoever did that should be ashamed of himself/herself. I have initially responded by saying I was hacked then removed the site. It is not my style nor would I know how to load such a cartoon. I feel I am eloquent enough to express myself without resorting to such ridiculous acts. I hope that I will not fall victim to hacking again and condemn such acts.”

Meanwhile it is also clear from the context that the photo of Professor Anthony Serracino Inglott, Chairman of the Medicines Authority, has nothing to do with the Gynaecology Director mentioned in the title.
