Hospice Malta holds annual bike ride
Last Sunday, Hospice Malta once again held its Annual Bike Ride.
The cyclists started from Hospice Malta premises at Balzan and cycled to Hamrun, Valletta, Sliema (for a short stop) and back to Balzan.
Cyclists of all ages, both individually and in groups, participated and made this event a great success.
The success of this event is also credited to the invaluable support of the Malta Traffic Police, St John’s Ambulance, collaboration with Transport Malta and various local councils, the Knight Cyclists, Mosta Cycling Club and the Green Teens.
A big thanks also goes to all sponsors who contributed generously towards this event, as well as the Fundraising organising team and volunteers for their time and effort. Thanks to the support of all, the fantastic sum of € 7675.00 was raised.
The money raised will enable Hospice Malta to continue with its mission of providing free-ofcharge Palliative Care in the community. It is thanks to this continuous support that Hospice Malta can promote the highest possible standards of palliative care for people suffering from cancer, motor neuron disease and other serious illnesses.
Anyone wishing to support Hospice Malta further can do so by sending an SMS to 50618180 for €4.66, 50618997 for €6.99 or 50619290 for €11.65. Thanks.
