Nestlé Malta in­au­gu­rates a new Con­sumer Cen­tre

Nestlé Malta in­au­gu­rated a new Con­sumer Ser­vice Cen­tre in Lija on Thurs­day, ad­ja­cent to its head of­fice build­ing. The premises, which are pri­mar­ily in­tended to be the con­tact point be­tween Nestlé and its con­sumers and cus­tomers, was in­au­gu­rated in a year in which Nestlé Group is com­mem­o­rat­ing the 150th an­niver­sary of its ex­is­tence. The new Nestlé Con­sumer Cen­tre was in­au­gu­rated by Prime Min­is­ter Joseph Mus­cat and Nestlé Mar­ket Head for Italy and Malta, Leo Wen­cel in the pres­ence of the Arch­bishop of Malta, Mgr Charles J. Sci­cluna and Nestlé Malta Man­ag­ing Direc­tor, Naum Janakiev.

Speak­ing dur­ing the inau­gu­ra­tion of the Cen­tre, Mr Janakiev said that “The Nestlé Con­sumer Cen­tre will help to show­case all Nestlé brands and con­cepts in one co­her­ent space, thereby giv­ing a more wide­spread reach-out and a unique user-ex­pe­ri­ence to all vis­i­tors. The Cen­tre would be a point of wel­come for cus­tomers and con­sumers who are in­ter­ested in get­ting first-hand in­for­ma­tion as well as get­ting an ex­pe­ri­ence with our Brands.”

Mr Janakiev added that the cen­tre will also of­fer an even more ef­fi­cient en­vi­ron­ment where our loyal cus­tomers par­tic­i­pat­ing in our NESCAFÉ Col­lect Scheme can re­deem col­lected points, whilst also get­ting an op­por­tu­nity to get var­i­ous in­for­ma­tion about Nestlé’s back­ground, his­tory, cor­po­rate & so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity and nu­tri­tion, amongst other things. In line with Nestlé Good Food, Good Life, the Nestlé Con­sumer Cen­tre will strengthen our ef­forts in pro­mot­ing aware­ness of how nu­tri­tion at dif­fer­ent stages of hu­man life could con­trib­ute in en­hanc­ing the qual­ity of our con­sumers’ lives.

A fea­ture wall, por­tray­ing the first 1000 days of a child, has been set up, where one can learn more about the very first days of the de­vel­op­ment of the hu­man be­ing, in­deed bring­ing to life the images printed on the wall via the scrolling of a mon­i­tor.

The Cen­tre is will also pro­vide the pos­si­bil­ity to view and ex­pe­ri­ence both Out-Of-Home and Re­tail Brand con­cepts in an in­ter­ac­tive man­ner.
