Starlites’ comeback ensures opening win

After the break, Depiro were still hammering away as they made up a good 12-2 start with David Bugeja hoops. That gave them a maximum seventeen point advantage at 48-31. Bench players came on court with Starlites retaliating with a 9-0 runand another Mitrovic trey.
The play was then shared till the end of the session with Nikola Stankovic netting a Starlites triple but with Depiro ahead on a 56-46 score.
In the last period, Andrew Aquilina increased depiro’s advantage but Starlites were not done yet. They came up with a 12-2 run to open up the game once more. Depiro had Bugeja with more points but Starlites had better options as Mitrovic sank two more treys taking them to just a hoop in arrears and Nikola Stankovic nailed his second triple to put his side ahead after trailing for so long.
