It was the third encounter between these two sides this season all of them won by the Greens. This time without the services of Dirk Schembri abroad and the continued absence of Abraham Portelli they still managed to beat the Paolites who could bank on this season's ruling of local foreigners.

One must also mention that Hibs are missing Kieron Caruana's play due to his long term absence.

Hibs opened up with a brace of hoops with Floriana making up an 8-1 run with a couple of Nikola Vasovic triples.

Alvaro Lizaur's hoops had the Paolites again in front with Chad Patus nailing a late trey for a Floriana lead. In teh second period Floriana made up a 7-0 run for a better advantage but Hibs cut down on their deficit.

The Greens put in a further 120 run as Patus and Nikola Andrejevic netted their treys. Hibs' reaction brought them an 11-2
