Air Traf­fic Ser­vices and Air Traf­fic Con­trollers signs agree­ment for bet­ter con­di­tions

An agree­ment be­tween the Min­istry for Tourism, Malta Air Traf­fic Ser­vices and the Malta Air Traf­fic Con­trollers Association was signed yes­ter­day af­ter dis­cus­sions were held to im­prove the work­ing con­di­tions for em­ploy­ees.

The Malta Air Traf­fic Ser­vices dou­bled its profit in 2013 and con­tin­ued in­creas­ing prof­itabil­ity over the last three years. Tourism Min­is­ter Ed­ward Zam­mit Lewis said that this is a re­flec­tion of the hard work by the man­ag­ing board and the work­ers.

The com­pany has al­ready com­mit­ted it­self with the EU to in­vest €28 mil­lion to mod­ern­ize fa­cil­i­ties.
