Malta Independent - - WORLD -

Police investigating an acid attack at a London nightclub that left 20 people injured are searching for the boyfriend of a reality TV performer who has urged him to turn himself in. London police on Tuesday named Arthur Collins as a suspect wanted for questioning in the case, which left two men in their 20s seriously injured and needing hospital treatment in a specialist burns unit. The 25-year-old Collins is the boyfriend of performer Ferne McCann, who has appeared on British reality shows “The Only Way is Essex” and “I’m a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here.” Through a spokeswoman, McCann called the allegations against Collins “highly shocking” and urged him to “immediately” turn himself in. Police warned members of the public not to approach Collins, but to call emergency services if they saw him. Police say the attack happened early Monday morning after a dispute between two groups at the Mangle nightclub. Metropolitan Police Detective Inspector Lee McCullough said “the noxious substance used has not yet been confirmed but samples retrieved from the scene have been sent for analysis.” Police are also seeking witnesses to an apparently unrelated acid attack on Friday. In that case, a noxious spray was used during a carjacking.
