During a meeting held last Thursday afternoon at the permanent secretary’s office (Education), the statement said, it was agreed that nurses and midwives will now be entitled to receive a structured mentorship allowance when formally mentoring students from the University of Malta and Northumbria University.

For the first time, the nursing and midwifery students will now start to benefit from a structured mentorship done by competent mentors.

MUMN thanked the Ministry for Health, Ministry for Education, University of Malta and MCAST for their collaboration.
