Mapfre Middlesea pays tribute to former CEO
A farewell lunch was held after the October Board meeting of Mapfre Middlesea for Alfredo Munoz Perez, the outgoing President and CEO of Mapfre Middlesea.
A farewell lunch was held after the October Board meeting of Mapfre Middlesea for Alfredo Munoz Perez, the outgoing President and CEO of Mapfre Middlesea. The lunch was held at the House of Four Winds at the kind invitation of the Chairman of Bank of Valletta.
Mr Munoz has left Mapfre Middlesea after a four year tenure as President and CEO of the company as well as director of MSV Life.
The chairman Mapfre Middlesea, Martin Galea paid tribute to Mr Munoz excellent skills which saw the company grow substantially in terms of revenue and market share, as well as profitability. Mr Galea stated that it was a period of great change within the company as Mr Munoz let its integration within the Mapfre group, and his leadership skills ensured that this was achieved seamlessly.
Mr Munoz has left Mapfre Mid- dlesea to take up a senior group appointment at Mapfre’s subsidiary in Turkey and the board wished him every success in his new post.
John Cassar White, as chairman of MSV echoed the same sentiments, and on behalf of the combined boards of Mapfre Middlesea and MSV Life welcomed the new President and CEO, Felipe Navarro de Chicheri, whose appointment was announced in September of this year.
