Mal­taPost launches the Mal­tex Philatelic Ex­hi­bi­tion and Col­lec­tors’ fair

Mal­taPost is proud to or­gan­ise the Mal­tex Philatelic Ex­hi­bi­tion and Col­lec­tors’ fair which comes to an end to­day at the Casino Mal­tese, Val­letta. This ex­hi­bi­tion once again in­vited a num­ber of en­thu­si­asts and lo­cal col­lec­tors to dis­play their philatelic i

This year, the ex­hi­bi­tion show­cased var­i­ous col­lec­tors’ items be­yond phi­lately, such as, coins and medals, World War II mem­o­ra­bilia, tra­di­tional Mal­tese bot­tles and other branded bot­tles, unique milk bot­tles caps and var­i­ous sports mem­o­ra­bilia.

The fair is open un­til to­day be­tween 9.30am and 4.30pm. En­trance is free of charge.

For this spe­cial event the Philatelic Bureau is­sued an Oc­ca­sion Card and a Per­son­alised Stamp/Cover. The card is avail­able in mint and can­celled con­di­tion from the Mal­taPost stand at the Mal­tex Ex­hi­bi­tion and from the Philatelic Bureau. A tem­po­rary let­ter box ser­vice will also be pro­vided dur­ing the open­ing hours of the ex­hi­bi­tion.

The cards and mail posted will be can­celled with the Mal­tex spe­cial hand stamp in­scribed Mal­tex 18 − Malta Philatelic Ex­hi­bi­tion and Col­lec­tors’ fair.
