Gozitan motorcyclist in danger of losing his life after early morning crash in Marsa

A 48-year-old man from Zebbug, Gozo, is in critical condition following a traffic accident in Marsa early yesterday morning.

The police said the accident occurred at around 7am on Aldo Moro Road. The man was riding a Ural motorbike in the direc- tion of Valletta when he hit the pavement and lost control of the vehicle. He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital, where he is said to be in danger of losing his life.

Magistrate Anthony Vella is holding an inquiry and police from the Hamrun district are also investigating.
