Comm. Eric Fenech Pace promoted to Knight Grand Cross

The Lieutenancy of Malta of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem has announced the promotion of its Lieutenant to the highest ordinary rank of Knight Grand Cross of the Order.

This honour was bestowed upon Comm. Fenech Pace, Motu Propriu by His Eminence Edwin Cardinal O’Brien, Grand Master of the Order, during a two day meeting for European Lieutenants, held at the Order’s Headquarters in Rome, last June.

Cardinal O’Brien praised the Maltese Lieutenant and encouraged those present to follow suit. This statement is testimony to the sterling work being carried out by the Maltese Lieutenancy.

The Cardinal will travel to Malta to preside during the upcoming Investiture of the Order, to be held on the 23 September 2017, at St John’s CoCathedral in Valletta.
