Hospice con­cert in com­mem­o­ra­tion of World Pal­lia­tive Day

Hospice Malta and the Col­l­legium Mu­sicum choir and orches­tra, un­der the di­rec­tion of the distin­guished mae­stro Dion Buha­giar, will be pre­sent­ing a con­cert of sa­cred mu­sic in com­mem­o­ra­tion of World Pal­lia­tive Day on Fri­day, 27 Oc­to­ber at St John's Co-Cathe­dral, Valletta at 7.30pm.

Reper­toire in­cludes works by Vi­valdi, Haydn, Mozart, Mascagni, Puc­cini, Jenk­ins, Rossini and Buha­giar, fin­ish­ing with the Hal­lelu­jah Cho­rus from the Mes­siah by Han­del. All pro­ceeds from the con­cert shall go to­wards the free of charge pal­lia­tive care to per­sons suf­fer­ing from cancer and other se­ri­ous ill­nesses.
