Employees at MAPFRE Middlesea stepped out of the office to participate in team-building events.

In an event organised by JUGS Malta, all employees participated in a number of activities that aimed to increase communication and teamwork. During the day, employees in different teams participated in ‘Whacky Olympics’, which included a three-legged egg race, relay and pram races, water games, football and tug of war among others.

“Such events allow our employees to socialise and get to know each other better. Because of such teamwork and team bonding, employees work better together when they return to their workplace. We strongly believe that they also contribute towards a better experience for our clients. Such events provide motivation and also some fun at the workplace,” Chief Office HR Ines Silva said.

MAPFRE Middlesea organises a number of activities throughout the year to allow for the development of its employees. These include volunteer activities, workshops and training. “As the company evolves, our team needs to evolve with it. We ensure that employees are provided with a good developmental and motivational programme,” Ms Silva said.
