While search­ing for places for our TPT Food­ies meetup of the month, we stum­bled upon a few stand­out sweet fin­ishes wor­thy of a men­tion. For those who would rather their three course meal con­sist in an en­tree and two desserts, here are our nine fa­vorite sweet dishes in town. Corn­bread (pan de elote) at Ba­cana Cafe­te­ria lo­cated on 10th Ave be­tween 6th and 8th street. Date cake (pas­tel de dátil) at Im­pre­vist lo­cated on 1st be­tween 14th street and 16th street. Banana puff pas­try (mil ho­jas de plá­tano) at La Pastele­te­ria lo­cated on the fed­eral high­way at Xa­man-Ha Cen­ter across from the Cen­tro Maya mall. Bit­ter cho­co­late and pas­sion fruit tart (tarta de cho­co­late amargo y maracuyá) at Chez Cé­line lo­cated on 5th and 34th. Le­mon tart (tarta de li­mon) at Chez Cé­line. Cho­co­late and ri­cotta tart (tarta de queso ri­cotta y cho­co­late) at Tiramisu mul­ti­ple lo­ca­tions in­clud­ing 5th Ave, be­tween 40th and 42th street, although the main lo­ca­tion is on CTM be­tween 15th and 20th street. Cho­co­late vol­cano (vol­can de cho­co­late caliente) at Romeo lo­cated on 4th street be­tween 10th Av­enue and 15th. Cho­co­late and caramel al­fa­jor (al­fa­jor de dulce de leche, cu­bierto de cho­co­late) an Ar­gen­tinian spe­cialty at Tradi­ciones lo­cated on 34th be­tween 40th Av­enue and 45th. Cho­co­late brownie at Ah Ca­cao mul­ti­ple lo­ca­tions in­clud­ing 5th Av­enue and 38th Street.
