MAÎTRE D’HÔTEL VIEW CAFÉ & RESTAURANT

Nobil Club - - Nobil Hotel -

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE AT NOBIL LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL?

Maître d’hôtel is a French concept, which means “Master of hotel”, head waiter or host.

This combination of words explains its meaning, and from it one can easily understand my role in Nobil Luxury Boutique Hotel.

Nevertheless, I would like to point out some of my responsibilities here: I make reservations for guests who call in advance, I greet all of our guests and seat them per their preferences, I ensure that they have a great time, I coordinate the work of all restaurant staff and ensure that everything is in order.

DESCRIBE YOUR JOB IN THREE WORDS

Responsibility, attitude and control.

WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST CHALLENGING ABOUT YOUR JOB?

I found that the most challenging thing about my job is the opportunity to communicate with different people.

For most people this can be a problem, a fear even, but I am very excited about it. Here I had the possibility to meet people of different nationalities, different cultures. I meet very kind people, very interesting people who mark me in a good way.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING IN NOBIL LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL?

The opportunity to be a part of a very strong team is what I like most about working in this hotel.

It is hard to work in team where all people are different, but not in our case – we have the common goal of providing high quality services and making our guests happy.

WHAT WAS YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT?

I am proud of the fact that I work in the most prestigious hotel of my country. I am proud of my team. And I am very happy when our guests are satisied by the services we provide.

Here, I have the opportunity to grow and develop myself personally and professionally.
