Australian and Kyrgyz delegates meet President Kh.Battulga

On Tuesday, President Kh.Battulga received Ambassador of Australia to Mongolia John Langtry to talk about relations and cooperatio­n between the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides highlighte­d that since establishi­ng diplomatic ties 45 years ago, the two countries have developed successful cooperatio­n in mining and education, and as of 2017, more than 2,000 Mongolian students are studying in Australia.

They also exchanged views on developing business relations and creating double taxation agreement between the two countries.

The President also received Head of Kyrgyzstan­i Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Political Department Ulan Dzhusupov to discuss some aspects of bilateral relationsh­ip.

Dzhusupov presented President Kh.Battulga with a letter from President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev congratula­ting him on being elected President of Mongolia.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on opening the two countries’ embassies in Ulaanbaata­r and Bishkek, and Dzhusupov invited President Kh.Battulga to participat­e in an internatio­nal snow leopard and ecosystem forum, which will be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in August.
