Ju­dokas D.Su­miya and M.Urantset­seg lead World Rank­ing List

The In­ter­na­tional Judo Fed­er­a­tion has up­dated its World Rank­ing List just after the 2017 World Judo Cham­pi­onships, which con­cluded on September 3 in Bu­dapest, Hun­gary.

Ac­cord­ing to the World Rank­ing List, State Hon­ored Ath­lete and former world cham­pion M.Urantset­seg has de­fended her top rank in the women’s 48 kg di­vi­sion with 4,420 points. She seized a silver medal from the 2017 World Judo Cham­pi­onship and earned 1,400 points.

Cur­rent world cham­pion, State Hon­ored Ath­lete D.Su­miya is lead­ing the women’s 57 kg cat­e­gory with 4,732 points. She col­lected 2,000 points after claim­ing a vic­tory at the World Cham­pi­onship.

D.Su­miya was awarded 26,000 USD for win­ning a gold medal from the 2017 World Judo Cham­pi­onship.

Former world cham­pion, State Hon­ored Ath­lete G.Bold­baatar came in fourth place in the World Rank­ing List with 2,561 points in the men’s 60 kg. He se­cured a bronze medal from this year’s cham­pi­onship.
