B.Tegsh­ba­yar to com­pete at 2017 UCI Road World Cham­pi­onships

In­ter­na­tional Sports Mas­ter B.Tegsh­ba­yar will represent Mon­go­lia at the 2017 Road World Cham­pi­onships to be or­ga­nized by In­ter­na­tional Cy­cling Union (UCI) Ber­gen, Nor­way from Septem­ber 16 to 24.

The Mon­go­lian cy­clist will com­pete in the in­di­vid­ual time trial and road race cat­e­gories.

In­ter­na­tional Sports Mas­ter B.Tegsh­ba­yar said he has a pos­i­tive out­look for the tour­na­ment.

Pre­vi­ously, B.Tegsh­ba­yar won a gold medal in the Scratch Race of the UCI Ju­nior Track Cy­cling World Cham­pi­onships in 2016.

He is a mem­ber of Shiliin Bogd Club of Sukhbaatar Prov­ince and has been train­ing at the World Cy­cling Cen­ter of the UCI in Switzer­land since April 2016.

The UCI Road World Cham­pi­onships is an an­nual event that takes place in Septem­ber. The event fea­tures 12 races over nine days, and is con­sid­ered a ma­jor cul­tural pro­gram. There are three dis­ci­plines; team time trial for the pro­fes­sional UCI teams, in­di­vid­ual time tri­als, and the road races.
