Mongolian and Russian Olympic committees sign cooperation contract
On October 3, the president of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) D.Zagdsuren and the president of the Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov signed a contract of cooperation.
The signing was held during the 22nd General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees, which is currently taking place in Prague, Czech Republic.
Within the frames of the contract, both sides will exchange experiences on sports and related techniques, and hold exchange programs for athletes, coaches and experts.
During the meeting, Alexander Zhukov said, “Russia and Mongolia have a huge history from ancient times and both countries have friendly relations with each other. I hope we can cooperate in the sports sector and that our cooperation will reach another level. We will do our best and exchange experiences.”
MNOC’s president D.Zagdsuren said, “One of our priorities is to develop Olympism in the country, cooperate with world’s leading countries in sports and to share experiences. We have signed the contract with the Russian National Olympic Committee. Russia is one of the most powerful countries in sports. This is so important for us to cooperate with Russians. I hope we will carry out many projects and programs together in the future.”
