Mon­go­lian and Rus­sian Olympic com­mit­tees sign co­op­er­a­tion con­tract


On Oc­to­ber 3, the pres­i­dent of the Mon­go­lian Na­tional Olympic Com­mit­tee (MNOC) D.Zagdsuren and the pres­i­dent of the Rus­sian Olympic Com­mit­tee Alexan­der Zhukov signed a con­tract of co­op­er­a­tion.

The sign­ing was held dur­ing the 22nd Gen­eral Assem­bly of the As­so­ci­a­tion of Na­tional Olympic Com­mit­tees, which is cur­rently tak­ing place in Prague, Czech Repub­lic.

Within the frames of the con­tract, both sides will ex­change experiences on sports and re­lated tech­niques, and hold ex­change pro­grams for ath­letes, coaches and ex­perts.

Dur­ing the meet­ing, Alexan­der Zhukov said, “Rus­sia and Mon­go­lia have a huge his­tory from an­cient times and both coun­tries have friendly re­la­tions with each other. I hope we can co­op­er­ate in the sports sec­tor and that our co­op­er­a­tion will reach an­other level. We will do our best and ex­change experiences.”

MNOC’s pres­i­dent D.Zagdsuren said, “One of our pri­or­i­ties is to de­velop Olymp­ism in the coun­try, co­op­er­ate with world’s lead­ing coun­tries in sports and to share experiences. We have signed the con­tract with the Rus­sian Na­tional Olympic Com­mit­tee. Rus­sia is one of the most pow­er­ful coun­tries in sports. This is so im­por­tant for us to co­op­er­ate with Rus­sians. I hope we will carry out many projects and pro­grams to­gether in the fu­ture.”
