Mongolia to collaborate with Japan in sports
Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa met with Member of the Japanese House of Representatives Seiji Kihara and Mayor of the Tokyo suburb of Musashimurayama Masaru Fujino in Ulaanbaatar to exchange views about ongoing and upcoming sports cooperation between Mongolia and Japan.
During the meeting, the sides talked about Japanese assistance for Mongolian athletes who will participate in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Paralympics by holding a joint training with Japanese athletes in Musashimurayama and other Japanese cities, and through exchange programs for the two countries’ coaches.
Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa discussed collaborating with Japan to train Mongolian experts more about sports science and medicine in Japan.
Kihara said that he will focus on strengthening relationships between the two nation’s youth through sports cooperation, and create a program that will motivate such relations under a long-term comprehensive cooperation partnership between the two countries.
