Chi­nese Jus­tice Min­is­ter vis­its Mon­go­lia to strengthen le­gal co­op­er­a­tion

Prime Min­is­ter U.Khurel­sukh met with China’s Min­is­ter of Jus­tice Zhang Jun on Mon­day at the State Palace to ex­change ideas on le­gal and some other co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the two coun­tries.

Dur­ing their meet­ing, the Prime Min­is­ter un­der­lined that col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween the le­gal sec­tors of the two coun­tries has reached com­pre­hen­sive strate­gic part­ner­ship level, and stated that he will fo­cus on is­sues re­gard­ing pris­oner trans­fer be­tween the two na­tions.

The Chi­nese Min­is­ter noted that he will ac­tively work with Mon­go­lian of­fi­cials to move for­ward with a pro­gram re­lated pris­oner trans­fer be­tween Mon­go­lia and China, and the im­ple­men­ta­tion of China’s Belt and Road Ini­tia­tive in Mon­go­lia.

Min­is­ter Jun also met with Min­is­ter of Jus­tice and In­ter­nal Af­fairs Ts.Nyam­dorj to dis­cuss le­gal co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the two coun­tries.

The min­is­ters signed a co­op­er­a­tion pro­gram be­tween the two min­istries from 2017 to 2021. The two min­is­ters stated that they will ac­tively work to suc­cess­fully im­ple­ment the co­op­er­a­tion pro­gram in the years to come.
