Minister D.Tsogtbaatar underlines agricultural cooperation with Canada
Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Ambassador of Canada to Mongolia David Sproule on November 6 to discuss opportunities for collaboration between the two nations.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar pointed out that developing economic cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural sector will be of great importance to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
He also noted that Mongolia has a lot of things to learn about how Canada determines it’s economic and foreign trade policies, and how to successfully implement them.
The Canadian Ambassador emphasized that developing defense cooperation is more important for the two countries, and expressed his satisfaction with Mongolia’s successful peacekeeping activities.
Ambassador Sproule added that Canada’s international development bilateral assistance program is being carried out successfully, and noted that the two countries are developing mutual cooperation through the program.
