Prime Min­is­ter con­grat­u­lates 3x3 bas­ket­ball team and pow­er­lifter B.Chimedt­seren

On Novem­ber 9, Prime Min­is­ter U.Khurel­sukh met with the Mon­go­lian na­tional 3x3 bas­ket­ball team, which won the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2017, and pow­er­lifter B.Chimedt­seren who won a gold medal from the Asian Bench Press Cham­pi­onships 2017.

For B.Chimedt­seren, he is the only Mon­go­lian ath­lete who holds a world pow­er­lift­ing record for bench-press­ing 392.5 kg in the men’s 120 kg.

Prime Min­is­ter U.Khurel­sukh ex­pressed his grat­i­tude to B.Chimedt­seren for de­vel­op­ing this sport in Mon­go­lia and for pro­mot­ing his coun­try to the world.

He high­lighted that the achieve­ments of bas­ket­ball play­ers have been im­prov­ing in­ten­sively in past years. The Prime Min­is­ter be­lieves that the na­tional bas­ket­ball team will bring a medal from the Tokyo 2020 Sum­mer Olympic Games.

The Mon­go­lian na­tional 3x3 bas­ket­ball men’s team claimed vic­tory at the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup 2017, which was held in Ulaan­baatar.

The team pre­sented a bas­ket­ball jersey num­bered 30 and a ball to Prime Min­is­ter U.Khurel­sukh.
