M.NANDINTSETSEG STRIKES BRONZE MEDAL at Asian Women’s Boxing Championships
International Sports Master M.Nandintsetseg brought home a bronze medal from the Asian Women’s Boxing Championships 2017, which was held from November 2 to 12 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. M.Nandintsetseg faced host country boxer Tam Nguyen Thi in the women’s 51 kg silver medal bout, but lost and settled for a bronze medal.
This bronze medal is her third medal from the Asian Boxing Championships. Previously, M.Nandinstesteg seized a silver medal in 2010 and a bronze medal in 2015.
Another Mongolian athlete, O.Jargalan, also claimed a bronze medal in the women’s 48 kg event.
The Mongolian team was represented by five boxers, including O.Jargalan, International Sports Master M.Nandintsetseg, N.Oyun-Erdene, Sports Master E.Erdenetuya and M.Myagmarjargal, under the guidance of coach M.Buyanjargal and referee O.Mandakhbayar.
