M.NANDINTSETSEG STRIKES BRONZE MEDAL at Asian Women’s Box­ing Cham­pi­onships

In­ter­na­tional Sports Mas­ter M.Nandintsetseg brought home a bronze medal from the Asian Women’s Box­ing Cham­pi­onships 2017, which was held from Novem­ber 2 to 12 in Ho Chi Minh, Viet­nam. M.Nandintsetseg faced host coun­try boxer Tam Nguyen Thi in the women’s 51 kg sil­ver medal bout, but lost and set­tled for a bronze medal.

This bronze medal is her third medal from the Asian Box­ing Cham­pi­onships. Pre­vi­ously, M.Nandin­stesteg seized a sil­ver medal in 2010 and a bronze medal in 2015.

An­other Mon­go­lian ath­lete, O.Jar­galan, also claimed a bronze medal in the women’s 48 kg event.

The Mon­go­lian team was rep­re­sented by five box­ers, in­clud­ing O.Jar­galan, In­ter­na­tional Sports Mas­ter M.Nandintsetseg, N.Oyun-Er­dene, Sports Mas­ter E.Er­dene­tuya and M.Myag­mar­jar­gal, un­der the guid­ance of coach M.Buyan­jar­gal and ref­eree O.Man­dakhba­yar.
