For­eign Af­fairs Min­is­ter dis­cuss meat ex­port with Laos Am­bas­sador

Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs D.Tsogt­baatar met with Am­bas­sador Ex­tra­or­di­nary and Plenipo­ten­tiary of the Lao Peo­ple's Demo­cratic Repub­lic Sialounkone Seng-Outhone on Novem­ber 13 to talk about some as­pects of mu­tual co­op­er­a­tion.

Dur­ing the meet­ing, the pair ex­changed views on or­ga­niz­ing a con­sul­ta­tive meet­ing of the for­eign af­fairs min­istries of Laos and Mon­go­lia in Vi­en­tiane, the cap­i­tal of Laos, as well as the es­tab­lish­ment of a mem­o­ran­dum of co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the two for­eign af­fairs min­istries. They dis­cussed mu­tual col­lab­o­ra­tion to ex­port Mon­go­lian live­stock meat to Laos.

The Lao­tian Am­bas­sador stated that he will ac­tively work to fur­ther eco­nomic co­op­er­a­tion projects to ex­port frozen meat and car­pets from Mon­go­lia to Laos, and im­port agri­cul­tural prod­ucts from Laos to Mon­go­lia.

Min­is­ter D.Tsogt­baatar thanked the gov­ern­ment of Laos for supporting Mon­go­lia’s ini­tia­tive to estab­lish the In­ter­na­tional Think Tank for Land­locked De­vel­op­ing Coun­tries in Ulaan­baatar, and asked Am­bas­sador Seng-Outhone to ac­tively col­lab­o­rate un­der the think tank. At the end of the meet­ing, the Mon­go­lian For­eign Min­is­ter in­vited Lao­tian Min­is­ter of For­eign Af­fairs to visit Mon­go­lia.
