128 tra­di­tional wrestlers to bat­tle on Ching­gis Khaan’s birth­day

A tra­di­tional wrestling tour­na­ment will be or­ga­nized on the oc­ca­sion of the 855th an­niver­sary of Ching­gis Khaan’s birth, or Na­tional Pride Day, on Novem­ber 19 at the Wrestling Palace.

The tour­na­ment will chal­lenge 128 state and prov­ince cham­pion wrestlers to de­ter­mine the ul­ti­mate wrestler in Mon­go­lia.

The first tra­di­tional wrestling tour­na­ment for Na­tional Pride Day was held in 2012. To date, Ul­siin Avarga (State Cham­pion) Ch.San­jaadamba won the tour­na­ment twice, and Ul­siin Garid (State Garuda) U.Bat-Or­shikh, Ul­siin Arslan (State Lion) P.Buren­tugs and State Cham­pion P.Purevdagva won once each.
