Chess Grandmaster D.Nomin-Erdene wins the Silver Cup in Hungary
International chess tournament took place in memory of Bodi Tamas in Petervasara, Hungary.
Some 84 players participated in the tournament, which was held in the Swiss system (noneliminating tournament).
Mongolia’s chess grandmaster D.NominErdene took second place with 6.5 points out of seven matches in Rapid competition (the player gets 15 minutes and +10 seconds for each move). Furthermore, she seized second place with seven wins out of nine matches in the Blitz competition (the player gets 3 minutes and +2 seconds for each move) where 77 players participated and won the Silver Cup of the competition.
D.Nomin-Erdene became a grandmaster at the age of 15, which made her the fourth female chess player to earn this title in Mongolia.
