Ger­man-Mon­go­lian con­sul­ta­tive meeting held

Areg­u­lar con­sul­ta­tive meeting be­tween the Mon­go­lian Min­istry of For­eign Af­fairs (MFA) and the Fed­eral For­eign Of­fice of Ger­many (FOG) took place on Oc­to­ber 29 in Berlin.

The meeting’s del­e­ga­tions were led by State Sec­re­tary of the MFA D.Davaa­suren and Deputy Di­rec­tor Gen­eral for East Asia, South East Asia and Pa­cific Di­vi­sion at the FOG Pe­tra Sig­mund.

Dur­ing the meeting, the sides held talks on ad­vanc­ing bi­lat­eral com­pre­hen­sive part­ner­ship and co­op­er­a­tion. They also dis­cussed main­tain­ing high-level vis­its and di­a­logues re­lated to co­op­er­a­tion in the de­fense, trade and eco­nomic, cul­ture, ed­u­ca­tion, tech­nol­ogy, and con­sular af­fairs be­tween the two coun­tries.

State Sec­re­tary D.Davaa­suren handed over a con­sular patent to Ger­man cit­i­zen Ste­fan Sch­mitz, Mon­go­lia’s hon­orary con­sul to rep­re­sent Mon­go­lia to a district of Ger­many’s North Rhine-West­phalia State.
