Aung San Suu Kyi meets top for­eign of­fi­cials in Nay Pyi Taw

State Coun­sel­lor and For­eign Af­fairs Min­is­ter Aung San Suu Kyi, re­ceived a del­e­ga­tion of Mem­bers of the Euro­pean Par­lia­ment led by Dr. Werner Lan­gen (Chair­per­son of the Del­e­ga­tion for Re­la­tions with the coun­tries of South­east Asia and ASEAN) and Dr. S. Jais­hankar (the For­eign Sec­re­tary of the Repub­lic of In­dia) in Nay Pyi Taw on May 26 in sep­a­rate meet­ings, ac­cord­ing to the In­for­ma­tion Min­istry.

Dur­ing the meet­ing with the del­e­ga­tion of Mem­bers of the Euro­pean Par­lia­ment, they dis­cussed the pro­mo­tion of co­op­er­a­tion and re­la­tions be­tween Myan­mar and the Euro­pean Union, and the peace process and tran­si­tional mat­ters in Myan­mar.

Dur­ing the meet­ing with the For­eign Sec­re­tary of the Repub­lic of In­dia, they dis­cussed mat­ters re­lat­ing to pro­mot­ing bi­lat­eral re­la­tions and co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the two coun­tries in­clud­ing the en­ergy sec­tor, in­fra­struc­ture, culture, trade, and in­vest­ments.
