Probe into murder of crime reporter
Mexico’s top prosecutor said it has launched a comprehensive investigation of the murder of reporter Pedro Tamayo Rosas. A 45-year-old newspaper reporter who covered crime, Mr Tamayo Rosas was gunned down in front of his wife and two grown sons outside his home in the town of Tierra Blanca on July 20. His state, Veracruz, is considered one of the deadliest for reporters. Mr Tamayo Rosas’ killing has drawn condemnation from the United Nations.
