British luxury automobile company Rolls-Royce opened its first servicing centre in Yangon on August 1 in partnership with local importer and dealer Prestige Automobiles. The centre will service Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ghost, Wraith and Dawn models and will supply spare parts to customers. Technicians can fly in from the Rolls-Royce Singapore office if needed, the company said.
“Rolls-Royce surveyed its consumers in Myanmar two years ago and found they lacked a proper service centre. Later, they chose us as representatives to service their cars,” said U Chan Mya from Prestige Automobiles. Rolls-Royce, which is headquartered in Goodwood, England, will offer guidance online. – Aye Nyein Win
