Canada posts record US$2.7 billion trade deficit
Canada posted a record C$3.6 billion (US$2.7 billion) trade deficit in June. Imports rose 0.8 percent to C$45.0 billion in the month, while exports increased 0.6pc to C$41.4 billion, widening Canada’s trade deficit well beyond the C$2.8 billion forecast by analysts.
