Blaze roasts sesame factory
A sesame refinery caught fire on September 10, after a boiler overheated in the Shwe Pyi Thar facility. Four fire engines and 34 firefighters attended the scene on Bamaw Ah Twin Wun Street, after reports of a fire around 7:30pm. Some K300,000 in damages were sustained, including to an oil tank.
Factory manager Ko Nyo Htway, 27, has been charged for negligence under section 285 by the Shwe Pyi Thar Myoma Police Station.
