Jailed PKK chief sees fam­ily af­ter two years

Kur­dis­tan Work­ers Party (PKK) leader Ab­dul­lah Ocalan re­ceived his first fam­ily visit in two years, meet­ing his brother in the Turk­ish prison where he has been held for more than one-and-a-half decades. His brother Mehmet Ocalan trav­elled from Gem­lik to the high-se­cu­rity prison on Septem­ber 11, re­turn­ing in the early evening. Amid con­cerns over his health af­ter months cut off from the out­side world, Mr Ocalan’s lawyers con­firmed that he had met his brother.
