Police deny using bullets against protesters
Zimbabwe police denied using bullets to disperse protests against President Robert Mugabe last weekend as activists called for electoral reforms ahead of general elections in 2018. For the record, no firearm or live bullets were used in the protests, police spokesperson Paul Nyathi said. He urged those who claim that live bullets were fired at protesters to come forward with evidence. The protests were against President Robert Mugabe who plans to stand again in the 2018 election.
