One dead, two injured, in motorcycle crash
One man is dead and two men have been seriously injured following a motorcycle accident that occurred in the early hours of September 19.
Police say that speed was the cause of the accident, which occurred on Pyay Road in Yangon’s Mingalardon township.
The three men, Ko Min, 37, Ko Nay Win, 30, and Ko Aung Min Oo, 37, were taken to Insein Hospital following the accident. The driver, Ko Min, died of his injuries on the way to the hospital. The other two men suffered head and chest injuries.
Police have opened an investigation into the deceased driver for negligent driving, culpable homicide due to negligence, and endangering the lives and personal safety of others under sections 279, 304(a) and 338 of the Penal Code.
