Two dead in light plane crash
A light plane crashed in central France killing the two people on board, rescue services said. The two-seater RV-8 plane had just taken off from Issoudun aerodrome in the central Indre department when it crashed into thousands of straw bails in a field on September 27, according to rescue services. Pilot Pascal Lefebvre, 58, and Vincent Ah-Mook Sinh, 42, were killed instantly. The straw bails were set alight and it took 50 firefighters to tackle the blaze. An inquiry was swiftly launched into the cause of the crash.
