Lottery seller sentenced to 15 days over loudspeaker usage
A 52-year-old Thaketa township lottery ticket vendor was sentenced to 15 days in jail for using a loudspeaker at high volumes late at night.
U Khin Maung was selling tickets at the corner of Bogyoke and 51st streets in the 10th ward of Pazundaung township at 2:30am. He was charged under the Yangon Police Act and went to trial the same day he was charged.
